- Shift pattern – 5 days per week including 1 weekend day and some evenings

- 28 days holiday

- Salary: Minimum/National living wage (dependent on age) with an opportunity for an increase based on experience/ performance


Required to join our busy team working across our Activity Centre Cafe, Residential Lodge and Campsite.

As an activity centre open to the public as well as schools etc, we are operating a covid secure business and following all governing body guidelines.


Mendip is an expanding dynamic business. The role will involve working with our catering team and covering a range of responsibilities. A suitable candidate will be quick to learn how our business operates and the procedures we follow. The right person will manage their time efficiently; good organisational skills are essential. The job requires a polite courteous approach to all communication.

Key roles will include:

  • Serving customers hot and cold drinks

  • Taking food orders

  • Preparing and serving food items (following training)

  • Taking cash and credit card payments

Essential criteria

  • Good communication skills

  • Confident speaking to clients face to face

  • Full, clean driving license

  • Age 18+

Desirable criteria

  • Experience using a barista coffee machine

  • Experience of basic cooking
